DR Mann Hanson is very honored to be a part of this Red Tread Theatre show. As a member of Stone Soup Theatre Arts he produced and acted in shows like “The Maguffin”, “Penetralia”, “The Ghost Dancers”, and “What Happens to Women Here” before the company disbanded in 2009. Other NYC credits include “Never Norman Rockwell” and “I Hate Love” (Collective Objective), “Infectious Opportunity” (Nosedive Productions), and “Glass Houses” (Beggars Group). A graduate of SFSU (summa cum laude), DR has performed in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”, “Romeo and Juliet”, and “Raised in Captivity” to name a few. He has also directed “Waiting for Godot” and a staged reading of “The Yellow Boat”. He is so grateful to Julie for this amazing opportunity and to the cast and crew for their unconditional support. My love to Jai!
Quai Nystrom escaped a tongue-tied early life, and honed a writer’s mind. Quai is thrilled to join Red Thread, trying new shoes as a performer. Other voyages Quai has undertaken include teaching, offering healing-support, and most important being a friend, ally and lover. Quai, with zero acting training, thanks fellow Red Threaders for their grace. Quai hopes the show pushes people to question norms and uphold the voices that culture, for one reason or another, doesn’t normally set free.
